What happens in a Reiki Class?
Anyone can learn Reiki. The only special gift needed is the willingness to sign up.
But, what’s a Reiki class like?
A Reiki class might feel intimidating. But, I promise you, it’s not.
I once met a lady who’d taken a Reiki class (not mine). She described it as “being lectured at for 4 hours.”
Yikes! No thank you!
I’m your guide, but we are all there sharing, contributing, and learning from each other. We gather around our campfire (battery powered candle) to build community, discuss and learn. We don’t take ourselves too seriously.
The day begins with story telling and discussion of the science and mysticism of Reiki.
Next, we do the attunement ceremony. Your only job is to sit in a chair and relax while I perform the traditional ritual of attunement. When we end a minute or so later, you are attuned to channel Reiki. Like many traditional rituals, it feels peaceful and sacred.
Then you rev up your intuition muscles with a coloring worksheet. And, I tell you how, exactly, to do Reiki. Don’t worry, after your attunement, it’s easy.
Finally, we practice on each other. By this time, we are all buddies. Remember, we have been chatting around our candle campfire for awhile. And, I’ll be there to answer questions.
Most importantly, there are snacks and ample breaks to enjoy them.
That’s it! Just a couple hours to learn and get attuned to this soul healing method.
Then, you can practice on yourself, your loved ones, even your pets. Or your houseplants. Or the trees in your yard.
Tell them I say hello :)
